Quote of the Week

Weekly Postings

Hi Everyone
Kaleo this week has been stressful and trying. I just finished my Old Testament literature class with Don Taylor and had a lot of fun and learned so much but the class exhausted me and with all the homework for all my other classes I feel over whelmed. I am also very stressed that I want be able to raise enough support for my missions trip because I only have one month left and have sent out over 80 support letters and have only raised 125 dollars. I am in dire need of support but I just don't know where it will come from pleases pray that God will provide for me. Well on the brighter side of things I finally after 4 weeks of missing youth Group made it to one. The youth group and I went and had a meal with several family's in the congregation the family's where nice and welcoming but unfortunately the Kids where a nightmare to deal with and the worst part about it was that I dint even notice. I was so oblivious that I found out that the Kids were being a nightmare by the other youth leaders afterward the night was over. I feel that I am an inadequate leader for the youth group because I miss all of the things the kids are dealing with and the stuff I know they are dealing with I cant relate to because I have never experienced it. I hope next week will be better so until then fer well.
P.S. please pray that the finances I need for my India missions trip come in because I need about 3000 dollars.
Sincerely
Lord bb

Stupid Stuff at Missions Fest

Weekly Postings

Hi everyone
I have decided to make a quote of the week so here it is for this week.
Kaleo is not really a place,
But a state of mind. -Jon Lefebvre
So that said Kaleo this week has been interesting. I spent a great deal of my time and energy doing homework for most of the week but that is all in the past now and is quite boring. So after all of my boring and time consuming homework work I had the privilege of going to missions fest Vancouver although I had to miss youth group for the fourth strait week. But I think Missions fest was worth it I enjoyed the speakers and was challenged deeply by them. I also this week have come to the strangest and probably the most illogical conclusion of my life because for the past five months I have felt I should become a teacher and a missionary. But all the while have decided that I must have been crazy because a those jobs don't offer the salaries that I need to get all the nice stuff I have always wanted and it wasn't until Missions fest that I fully realized that that stuff doesn't really matter and doesn't really fulfill me. So I have come to the conclusion that I will continue to study to become a teacher so I can be a missionary even though that sounds crazy but is there is one thing that I have learned it is that what sounds crazy to us is quite logical to God.
P.S. please pray that the finances I need for my India missions trip come in because I need about 3000 dollars.
Sincerely
Lord bb

Weekly Postings

Hi Everyone
Kaleo this week has been pretty good. I spent the majority of the week doing homework for theology of mission and theology 1. I had my first class of theology with lech Bekesza I really enjoyed it although I understood less than half of it. I feel like I could study theology for 1000 years and not have the full picture of it. Well as for my ministry this week I didn't have youth group because I went to the Christmas banquet that was canceled at Christmas time due to bad weather. Although I did help out with Sunday school this week and am looking forward to the next few weeks of Sunday school because after church today I met with the Sunday school teacher and brainstormed for ways to get the class more involved. And as for next week I wont be at Sunday school or youth group because I will be going to mission’s fest in Vancouver.

Weekly Postings

Hi Everyone
Kaleo is going great this week I spent most of my time divided between skiing, homework, and work. Monday through Friday I sent all day skiing and all night doing homework. Friday through Sunday I spent all day working and all night doing homework. Unfortunately I don't believe I will get very high marks on any of my home work and I feel totally unprepared for my next class and am very worried that I want be able to raise the support I need for my missions trip to India this spring. As for my ministry this week I didn't have the chance to go because I was working a full weekend for the camp in the dish pit. Please pray for me to get my homework done and the support i need to go on my mission’s trip.
Sincerely
Lord bb

Weekly Postings

Hey Everyone
I just finished my first week back after Christmas break and things are going well. I just finished my first classes theology of mission and am preparing for my next class theology 101. Although this week I will be skiing and snowshoeing all week while I study like mad. But on a lighter note this week was the first week of youth group for me and it was packed there were about 15-20 kids there which has been a huge answer to prayer so thank you very much. I have also learned some new skills for my youth group such as patience and how to get a large groups attention. Well that about sums up my week so until next time fer well.
Sincerely
Lord bb
